This study discusses how many media outlets are perceived as “Biased or unreliable” by the general public. The researcher is trying to pursue a deeper understanding of media bias. Mainly in the field financial media. The purpose of this study is to find a deeper understanding of media bias by examining a specific segment of the media. Financial media is special in the that the content is "less political".

"Social influence is the process by which individuals adapt their opinion, revise their beliefs, or change their behavior as a result of social interactions with other people.". I used this article to show that ones beliefs are not generally passed down through lineage, beliefs and opinions can be made based on a local majority of other beliefs and opinions. People of similar demographics tend to have similar beliefs.
